Macaron Madness!!!

So I finally decided to tackle the authentic french macaron UNSUPERVISED!! it was trying; to say the least; & I now know why they're said to be the most difficult pastry to master! 2 recipes & 3 flopped trays later, think i finally got them right!!

YAY HOORAY!!! I FINALLY got my moulds for the bags and shoes!! And boy am I having fun with it!! What can be better than edible designer shoes?! Pics to follow soon!!

Faaiza's 30th Chanel couture cupcake tier!

These stunning cuppycakes were made for my sister's 30th birthday masquerade party. The party was at the Michelangelo hotel in Johannesburg. The cupcakes were a Chanel theme complete with mini quilted purses & the signature Chanel black rose! All in all, ALOT of hard work by all of us but worth it in the end!!!

I love this range of cuppy's! they're gorgeous! The top pic was for a lady who's hubby was coming back home after working overseas.
The 2nd pic was for my nieces. they were princess cuppy's!
& the last pic was made for a friend's housewarming party!!
I just love standing back and admiring all my hard work!

So i wrecked my brain on how to make cupcakes for a Camp Rock themed party; and FINALLY came up with these!! Living in Botswana, our bakery supplies shop has a very limited range of cutters & icing decorations, so thank heavens for royal icing!!! i think they came out pretty cute & the little girl LOVED them!!
